Mixing Engineer

Mixing Engineer is responsible for the efficient and effective recording, mixing, and editing of localized and vendor files. The role includes expertise in producing quality sound per the clients' specifications.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for consistent quality of the work from recording to finishing with high quality technology

  • Understand the intentions of clients (directors) and create the mixing balance and audio

  • Provide our technology to finalize theatrical movies by using our 407 studio

  • QC for works and audios recorded by both internal and external studio

  • Regularly check conditions of studio facilities and each equipment. If finding any defects during use, immediately report them to Technical -Management

  • Guidance and training of young member’s technical and personal skills

  • Observes compliance to defined company policies, procedures, and guidelines and drives continuous improvement

Required Capabilities & Skills

  • 3+ years experience as a dubbing mixer/ group recording/ dubbing and recording assistant for dubbed or animated films/ line matching work, etc.

  • Experience with Pro Tools

  • Have sufficient knowledge & technical skills to accurately respond to direct requests from client directors and producers at studios, as well as internal Project Managers and Sales Managers

  • Leadership ability towards junior colleagues for teaching technical & personal skills

  • Able to work with tight deadlines, under pressure, and with minimal supervision

  • Amenable to work in shifting schedule
