Independent Contractor - Webtoon Editor
The Webtoon Editor is responsible for creating visual design concepts of webtoons based on the set standards/requirements of the client/s. He/she is also responsible for coordinating with his/her Team Leader or immediate superior to determine the scope of the project to determine the applicable webtoon layout and design.
Specific Responsibilities
- Designs and layouts webtoons based on the requirements set by the client/s;
- Guarantees the quality of all projects to be delivered by performing complete quality assurance checks based on the guidelines stated by the client/s;
- Confers with the immediate superior to determine the progress of work and to provide information on changes affecting efficiency and quality of design output;
- Collaborates with the team members and Team Leader to present the design prior to submission to the client/s;
- Reviews webtoons design and incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design;
- Analyzes and recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product, if needed;
- Observes compliance to defined company policies, procedures, guidelines and drives continuous improvement; and
- Performs other function-related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising, Fine Arts or its equivalent
- Work Experience: Not required
- Proficient in using Photoshop
- Fluent in English both in written and spoken
- Highly analytical and meticulous
- Able to work under pressure and minimal supervision
- Amenable to work in shifting schedule
