The Data I/O technician is responsible for the following duties:-
Provide prompt and secure handling of encrypted and multi-formatted data on the network
Communicating with IT issues with file transferring
Receiving materials from a variety of sources, logging and tracking all materials, communicating with production teams on materials status and delivery
Maintain a healthy storage environment by organizing data and archiving efficiently
Manages incoming files, ingests assets into the Media Asset Management System, and assists with file staging and archiving as needed.
Download, organize and monitor all daily transfers through high-speed file transfer systems.
Manage operator queues through Order Management system to ensure accurate, on-time delivery.
Assist with Data Management duties as needed.
Skills & Experience Required:-
Diploma and above in any field
Required languages: English & Bahasa Melayu, he/she must be able to speak and write in these languages fluently
Resolve issues either technical or deadline related, and collaborate with operational departments and client services, towards a timely resolution
Good time management skills
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Good understanding of data transfers via network
Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
Has knowledge on asset management & file transfer systems
