Project Coordinator

Dubbing team project managing. According to the client’s needs and due date, managing and handling the schedule, communicating with translators, scriptwriters, adaptor, PD, and engineers to deliver assets on time.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Project & Resources Coordinator (Korean Dubbing):
  • Oversee the scheduling and completion of work assigned to freelancers
  • Work directly and closely with the Project Manager and Engineers
  • Ensure top quality for all dubbing files and delivery
  • Time management for all projects - arrange with freelancers/vendors for schedule of translation and etc.
  • Freelance Translators and proofreaders management
  • Find and train new freelancers and vendors
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned
  • Internal and External Communications:
  • Train freelancers and give out feedback to freelance translators
  • Proactively work on assignments throughout project life-cycle and provide feedback, whether linguistic or technical, to freelance translators and proofreaders
  • Communicate and coordinate activities for new and ongoing projects with the project department to ensure that delivery requirements and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time
  • Communicate to PM and Team Leader to motivational tools as needed for employees to achieve work goals
  • Confers with PM and Team Leader to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes affecting efficiency and quality of production
  • Communicate employee issues to PM and Team Leader, when necessary

Capabilities and Skills

  • Required languages : English and Korean, must be able to speak and write in these languages fluently
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadline
  • High attention to detail
  • Flexible and positive way of thinking about change
  • Experience in dubbing and proofreading is plus
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures
  • Excellent organization and time management

  • Semi-annual employee performance evaluation
  • Financial/customer/operational/people's perspectives

Expectations and Outputs

  • Able to give timely feedback to the team members on their performances
  • Able to deliver issues or updates to the team members and freelancers
  • Able to utilize client checklist, internal guidelines and etc.
  • Able to actively participate in sending out feedback and flagging issues in the files, suggesting solution to issues
