The primary role will be a Tier 1 support for IT within SDI Media, based in Warsaw. Respond to Helpdesk tickets and resolve where possible and or assign to subject matter experts where applicable.
Assist in the smooth running of the IT infrastructure and desktop support in Warsaw, and secondary remote support for other European Offices.
Assist with Tier 2 Application support for proprietary and other applications where applicable.
Set up PCs and workstations for staff and contractors who work in the office facility;
Manage AD user accounts/groups and Microsoft exchange mailboxes, both on premise and in Office 365.
Create & manage an accounts hierarchy for FTP, media Shuttle, Signiant Aspera, and other electronic transmission systems to allow clients and other SDI offices to exchange electronic data.
Backup and Restore of Media assets to/from archive (Netbackup, Stornext).
Help create and maintain a library of all installed software and ensure that only licensed software is always used.
Manage security on the network to ensure that all network resources are defined with relevant permissions. Help to continuously improve processes in the department and the company, including the creation of technical guides for yourself and team members, to be then published internally on SharePoint.
